Sir Howard Bernstein, renowned for successfully attracting millions of pounds of investment into Manchester, will be among the key speakers at this Investment & Property Breakfast, to be held at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, on Thursday 19 June, 7.30 am to 9.30 am.

With the new direct rail link from Burnley to Manchester operational from December 2014, Sir Howard will be sharing his knowledge of how improved connections can transform local economies, and how the new rail link can benefit both the Burnley and Manchester economies.

Burnley was recently awarded the title of Most Enterprising Place in the UK for its dynamic approach to economic development and enterprise, and the multi million pound developments underway transforming its business infrastructure. This year it has been ranked 10th in the UK for private sector jobs growth, and number one for growth potential in Lancashire, reflecting Burnley's pro-active approach to creating the right environment and infrastructure to support business growth.

Attendees will be able to hear about the latest property developments, economic trends and investment opportunities on Manchester's doorstep, and have the opportunity to network with senior developers, investors and lenders who are active in the market and have recent first-hand experience of investing in Burnley.
