CIH Strategies for Development and Regeneration Conference & Exhibition

27th September 2007, Radison Edwardian Hotel, Manchester

The success of regeneration in any neighbourhood depends largely on how successfully service providers engage with communities. This conference will explore the design, funding, planning and execution of changes in the built environment, whilst meeting the planning and social policy of government.

The event will also examine the issues that have arisen from the Government’s Green Paper; Homes for the Future: More affordable, more sustainable. With trends in regeneration ever changing to acknowledge the environment and climate change and the Governments work to reduce the carbon footprint of new homes this event will look at why this is important to you and your organisations role in creating a low carbon environment.

The event will also look at how through regeneration we create sustainable communities for all. The event will also look at how we build mutually beneficial relationships between public and private sectors in development.

Through a selection of plenary sessions and interactive workshops, this conference will give you the opportunity to examine tools and techniques which will support you in the development of communities that people will want to live in for years to come.
