BIM – Myths and Misunderstandings

What you need to know and why you need to know it

BIM is the process of prototyping a building – not just another term for 3D modelling. Building Information Models are rich in coordinated, reliable data and as a project progresses, more information is added into the model. During the course of this seminar, which is not to be missed, we will take a look at:

  • What BIM is (and what it isn't)
  • Where the industry is now with practical examples
  • Where the industry is going – and what is BIM is going to look like in the future?
  • What it means to you
  • Why BIM is important to you, wherever you are in the construction industry

Speakers will include:

  • Liam Brady – Manchester City Council
  • Phil Cusack – AECOM
  • James Savage – Pozzoni
  • Mark Stodgell – Pozzoni
  • Richard Mann – AECOM

Cost to attend: £30.00 incl VAT per person for members of GM Chamber/£40.00 incl VAT for Non-Members.
