BIM – Myths and Misunderstandings
What you need to know and why you need to know it
BIM is the process of prototyping a building – not just another term for 3D modelling. Building Information Models are rich in coordinated, reliable data and as a project progresses, more information is added into the model. During the course of this seminar, which is not to be missed, we will take a look at:
- What BIM is (and what it isn't)
- Where the industry is now with practical examples
- Where the industry is going – and what is BIM is going to look like in the future?
- What it means to you
- Why BIM is important to you, wherever you are in the construction industry
Speakers will include:
- Liam Brady – Manchester City Council
- Phil Cusack – AECOM
- James Savage – Pozzoni
- Mark Stodgell – Pozzoni
- Richard Mann – AECOM
Cost to attend: £30.00 incl VAT per person for members of GM Chamber/£40.00 incl VAT for Non-Members.
