Capita commits to Lee House

Landlord CBRE Investors has secured the continued occupation by Capita at Lee House in Great Bridgewater Street, Manchester, regearing a number of leases.

Capita has committed to 27,064 sq ft for a period extending until 2017. The firm has occupied Lee House and its sister building Churchgate House, since 2007.

DTZ's and King Sturge are joint agents for the property. James Raspin, surveyor at DTZ, said: "Significant capital has been invested in improving Lee and Churchgate House in recent years, and Capita's decision to sign up until 2017 is confirmation that the investment has paid off and that the building is still an attractive proposition to occupiers."

The improvement works cost £2m and included redesign of the reception area, refurbishment of office suites, works to the Grade II listed elevations of the buildings and remodeling of the courtyard.

There remains 10,142 sq ft available to let on the ground floor of Lee House, with a number of suites also available in Churchgate House, ranging from 1,909 sq ft up to a whole floor of 22,634 sq ft.
