37 hours per week

Your role:

You will lead a team within the newly established Regeneration Service, playing a key role in developing and delivering the Council’s ambitious agenda with a particular focus on town centres and heritage-led regeneration.

You will ensure that the Council has a robust pipeline of projects and will work on projects from inception through to delivery.

With support from the Service Manager and Assistant Director, you will work on the some of the most exciting schemes in the North West – navigating and managing interactions between stakeholders, developing effective delivery strategies and securing commitment from partners to deliver regeneration across the borough.

About you:

You will be an experienced regeneration professional with a passion for creating great places and ensuring that the social and economic benefits of regeneration are captured within communities.

You will have excellent technical and interpersonal skills. You will understand the context for regeneration and be confident in managing complex projects.  You will be able to identify regeneration opportunities and see them through to delivery.

You will enjoy working with a range of partners and be able to engage effectively with stakeholders across all sectors. You will have experience of leading and managing teams of people.
