Epsilon opens in Manchester
London property company Epsilon Real Estate Partners has opened a Manchester office, with director Rodney Hunt spearheading the business’s move into the region.
Hunt said that Epsilon’s recent successes in the North West, and desire to seek value outside of the Lonon market, has driven the launch of the office on South King Street. He is to relocate to Cheshire as Epsilon seeks to build a stake in the Manchester and Leeds office markets.
Epsilon’s partners have been acquiring office and residential developments in London and the South East for the last 30 years. Buildings it has acquired so far in the region include Aeroworks in Adair Street, where 34,000 sq ft has been let to OnTheBeach, Croxley House on Lloyd Street, a 30,000 sq ft lulti-let building where the tenants include the soon-to-open Thomas Dakin Gin Distillery; and Hanover House on Charlotte Street, a multi-let office refurbishment project.
The business is looking to appoint a surveyor for its northern venture, and is looking to deploy a further £20m to £30m in Manchester and Leeds.
