- CAROLINE PAYNE, EMERY PLANNING | Caroline has over 23 years of planning experience, primarily in the private sector, advising and managing a wide range of applications and appeals, strategically promoting sites through the Local Plan, and preparing representations and evidence.
- GEMMA DAVIES, CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER COUNCIL | Gemma has worked in local government for 19 years. She has worked in various roles for Chester, Shropshire and Cheshire West & Chester councils. She has responsibility for housing, planning, economic growth and capital delivery and is a member of the Institute of Economic Development.
- STEVEN BROOMHEAD, WARRINGTON COUNCIL | Steven is the chief executive at Warrington Borough Council, a role he has performed on a part time basis since 2012. He was also the council chief executive from 1997 to 2003. Professor Broomhead holds the chair of entrepreneurial education at Liverpool Hope University. He is also a governor of the University of Chester.
- RICHARD WHARTON, JLL | Richard has worked at JLL for 19 years specialising in office agency throughout the North-West region including providing advice to occupiers, landlords and developers of some of Cheshire’s key office schemes including Birchwood Park (Warrington Borough Council), Warrington Centre Park, Daresbury Park (Marshall CDP) and Booths Park, Knutsford (Bruntwood).
- JONATHAN ATHERTON, SAVILLS | Jonathan has more than 25 years’ experience working in the North West Industrial market. During this period he has worked on some of the region’s largest schemes and transactions. Recent examples of his work in Cheshire have included: over 1.1m sq ft space acquired for AO.com in Crewe, the disposal of 640,000 sq ft at Gorsey Point Widnes, and more than 1m sq ft transacted at Middlewich. He is currently acting as agent on XDock 549,a 549,000 sq ft of spec distribution space, and acting on Panattoni Park – Crewe, which can provide over 1m sq ft of distribution space.
- CIARAN ALDRIDGE, MCCARTHY STONE | Ciaran joined McCarthy Stone in September 2023 as managing director and is responsible for running its Northern division, overseeing the division’s land, development, construction and sales teams. Ciaran is also responsible for the implementation of McCarthy Stone’s multi tenure and affordability strategy in the North that is helping older homeowners with lower equity levels buy a retirement property and enjoy all the benefits that come with living in a McCarthy Stone retirement development.
- ANDREW BUCKLEY, GASCOIGNE HALMAN | Andrew began his career at Gascoigne Halman 20 years ago, joining as a graduate sales negotiator where he obtained his NAEA qualification before working his way to the role of Sales Director for the company after successfully managing the Sale office. Gascoigne Halman is the leading Estate Agent in Cheshire, South Manchester and the High Peak.
- CHRIS TAYLOR, PROGRESSIVE ENERGY | As head of planning & consents for Progressive Energy, Chris coordinates consenting activities across HyNet, which aims to decarbonise industry across north west England and north Wales. He is a chartered environmentalist with over 20 years’ experience working with industry, focusing on clean energy, carbon capture and hydrogen projects to deliver meaningful reductions in carbon emissions.
- ANNA RELPH, TURLEY | Anna is currently lead planning advisor in relation to the re-development of the former Fiddlers Ferry Power Station in Warrington; one of the largest brownfield sites in the North West which will incorporate four million sq ft of new logistics / industrial floorspace and 860 new homes. Anna also has extensive residential experience across Cheshire, promoting land and securing permission for housing across the county.
- SARAH CHICKEN, MUSE | Sarah recently joined Muse Places as a development manager and has 9 years of experience in the commercial property sector. For the last 6 years, she has focused on industrial and logistics, working on major schemes across the region. Most recently, she is leading on the delivery of up to 1.35m sq ft of commercial space at Basford East in Crewe.
- HEATHER STANDIDGE, CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD | Heather has been a key member of Cushman & Wakefield’s development and strategic advisory team for over 15 years. She specialises in regeneration and economic development advice including market assessments and feasibility studies from site specific to strategic level and across all property sectors. For the last eight years, Heather has supported Enterprise Cheshire & Warrington to deliver new space and create jobs across the Cheshire Science Corridor.
