The JLL and Place North Five-a-Side Football Tournament will bring together industry professionals from across the built environment for a fun afternoon of football divided into two simultaneous tournaments: a men’s competition and a women’s one. Those of all gender identities are encouraged to sign up to play. This will be the third edition of the event, which was created by JLL.

Companies signed up include: Placefirst, Savills, Glencar Construction, Claremont Group Interiors, WSP, Ascend Properties, Real Estate Marketing Media, Overbury, Magnitude QS, Zaman Roberts, DWH, Atelier Ten, and Trowers & Hamlins.

Funds raised from the football tournament will support HideOut Youth Zone’s Honey Bees sports programme, which is geared towards encouraging more girls to participate in sport, as well as free spaces at HideOut’s holiday club.

This year, money will also go towards WWF’s people and communities initiative, which works to restore degraded land and build resilient communities.

The fun starts at noon and lasts until 4pm with prizes and trophies ready for the winners. Tickets start at £420 per seven-person team, a fee that includes a charity donation, post-match food, and drinks at the bar. Individuals can also join a team for £60.
