- DAN BATTERTON, LEGAL & GENERAL INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT | Dan has over 20 years’ experience in the property sector and his exceptional understanding of portfolio strategy have been utilised to design L&G’s long-term acquisition, development, sustainability and operational strategy for the Residential sector.
- KATIE O'NEILL, KNIGHT FRANK | Katie is economist and is responsible for analysing, reporting on, and being the market voice in trends in Global Living Sectors investment and development. Katie leads on the production of bespoke quantitative consultancy projects and uses data to innovatively engage Living Sectors clients.
- NIK BREMNER, SELECT RESIDENTIAL | Nik leads Select Property’s in-house lettings business for its portfolio of properties and partnership residences in Manchester and Birmingham. Nik has helped deliver a lettings and property management service that is tailored to Select’s investors, designed to drive the strongest returns and offer a simplified process that enhances the investment experience for its clients.
- ROB SUMNER, SIGMA CAPITAL | Rob is a chartered surveyor and previously a director of investment and development at Savills for 10 years where he specialised in residential investment agency selling and acquiring investments on behalf of institutions, private equity and family offices. Rob has over 20 years’ experience in the regional residential marketplace.
- CATALINA IONITA, CHAPMAN TAYLOR | Catalina has over 11 years of experience specialising in residential and mixed-use large-scale developments across the UK and internationally. Her work is driven by a deep passion for placemaking and creating vibrant, sustainable communities in urban settings. Catalina has extensive expertise across all project stages, from initial concept design to construction delivery.
- IAN SCOTT, LIVINGWAY | Ian is a chartered investment surveyor focussing on capital markets and development within the UK BTR sector. He has been involved with over £1Bn of transactions in the sector and has various roles providing investment and development consultancy to investors and developers.
- TOM SINCLAIR, CBRE |Tom leads CBRE's residential investment activity for the North of England and is recognised as a market leader in the BTR sector. Last year CBRE advised on four BTR forward funding transactions and three stabilised investment transactions in the North of England, totalling over £550m and establishing the team as the most active residential investment advisory team in the region.
- ALUN DAVIES, PLACEFIRST | Alun is a chartered planner with over 10 years’ experience acting both for developers, in consultancy and now as a developer at Placefirst. At Placefirst, Alun is responsible for securing planning permission for their new developments as well as exploring land and investment acquisition opportunities. A key part of this role is successful collaboration with Local Authorities, Combined Authorities, private landowners and third-party delivery partners.
- VERITY CUBITT, SAVILLS | Verity is co-head of the PBSA Valuation Team within Savills providing valuation and strategic advice on student accommodation assets. Her work involves valuing large portfolios for operators and lenders as well as advising on the viability of ground up development and refurbishment projects to reposition assets within the PBSA sector.
- TOM MEES, BLACKLIGHT CAPITAL PARTNERS | Tom is a chartered surveyor with 18 years of cross sector UK real estate experience. Recent Blacklight Capital Partners living sector projects include the 999 bed Aura PBSA scheme and the 535 bed Limelight PBSA scheme, both in Liverpool. As development director, Tom is responsible for the acquisition, full co-ordination and delivery of developments. Blacklight Capital Partners has recently acquired another large scale site for PBSA development in Liverpool. Tom's life ambition is to one day complete a PBSA development outside Liverpool.
