Northwich Premier Inn to expand

Cheshire West and Chester Council will consider an application from Premier Inn Hotels for a two-storey annexe that would increase the number of rooms by 32 to 100.

The group’s Northwich South hotel, on a two-acre site off London Road, would increase by 9,300 sq ft to 28,000 sq ft. The site for the annexe is currently a car park, which will be reconfigured to make space for the project. There would be a net gain of 10 parking spaces after the redevelopment.

Walsingham Planning is the agent for Premier Inn Group. Allison Pike Partnership is the architect, with landscaping works by Indigo Landscape Architects.

The application forms part of Premier Inn’s plans to expand its market in the North West through extensions to existing hotels.

The project team includes Enivronoise, Arbtech, Booth King, and RGP.
