Irwin Mitchell adds partner
The law firm has expanded its Manchester real estate practice with the appointment of transactional property partner Stelios Coutsavlis from Knights.
Coutsavlis, who also previously worked at Clyde & Co after spending the 17 years up to 2015 as a partner with Squire Patton Boggs and its predecessor firm Hammonds, has a wealth of experience acting for developers and public authorities.
Irwin Mitchell said that his particular expertise in energy and healthcare fit in well with the practice’s sector approach and its later living with care sector.
The firm said the new hire will provide a strong boost to a team headed by Roy Beckett and comprising Irwin Mitchell’s head of planning & environment Claire Petricca-Riding, construction partners Edward Davies and Richard Allan and real estate dispute associate Ben Gildea.
Adrian Barlow, director of property legal services at Irwin Mitchell said: “Following the re-organisation of the Irwin Mitchell business this year, our commercial and residential real estate teams have combined into one property division and are benefitting from a unified approach.
“New business enquiries and activity have increased substantially across the practice.”
