Ex-Savills head of leisure launches consultancy
David Bell, formerly the head of global leisure at Savills, and Sammy Jones, director of Bound Commercial, have started Stärka, a leisure real estate advisory business based in London and Cheshire.
Between the two of them, Bell and Jones have more than 40 years of experience in property. Bell specialises in leasing, asset management and development consultancy for national and global clients, while Jones is skilled in managing the entirety of the acquisition process.
Stärka will specialise in food and beverage, leisure, lifestyle and fitness sectors.
“Stärka is Swedish and means ‘strength and invigorate’, and the Scandinavian ethos embodies the culture of the company and how we work with our clients,” Bell said.
“We love working with people who have passion, energy and enthusiasm, just like us, sharing our expertise in restaurants, lifestyle and leisure and fitness sectors in a global context.”
Jones commented: “We believe specialist advice is needed now more than ever in this ever-changing world. Together, we have substantial experience as real estate agents, client-side property teams, and development consultants.”
“Stärka has been created to do things differently, rather than repeat the norm,” she continued. “We are innovators, creators and curators.”
Stärka’s Cheshire office is in Betchton. Clients include Grosvenor, Gusto, DTZ Investment Management, Hickory’s, and Côte.
