Knight Frank appointed to Ballamona Estate sale

Property developer Richmond Square has appointed Knight Frank to handle the sale of a planned £30m country estate on the Isle of Man.

The 112-acre development, located on the south of the island, has full planning consents in place including permission for a 20,600 sq ft principal residence.

The coastal estate includes leisure and recreation facilities plus four refurbished farm buildings.

James Crawford, country house director at Knight Frank, said: "The Ballamona planning approval is unprecedented; satisfying every expectation of a super-prime house of world-class status. Ballamona sets a new standard across the North West and, of course, the Isle of Man remains an highly attractive location to wealthy overseas buyers."

Douglas-based agent Chrystals advises Richmond Square.
