Ascent in talks with Peel to manage Media City studios
Peel Media said it is in talks with Ascent Media Group to "provide a range of services" at Media City UK, in Salford.
Ascent has entered an exclusivity period with Peel Media aimed at agreeing a tie-up by the end of the summer. Under the options being discussed, Ascent could operate the high definition television studios at Salford Quays and manage global distribution of content produced on-site.
Ascent Media Group claims to be the world's leading provider of integrated digital media services, with more than 40 facilities worldwide.
