Urban Vision completes new skate facilities in Salford

Greater Manchester-based Urban Vision has helped to deliver a new skate park and multi-use games area in Salford, through a joint venture with Salford City Council.

The scheme is hoped to improve leisure activity for young people in the area, with the multi-use games area, situated near Brookhouse Community centre, benefiting from £84,000 being secured through the Safer and Stronger Communities Fund (SSCF).

In further development aimed at enhancing the local community, with a contract value of almost £128,000, Salford City Council and Urban Vision have designed and constructed a skate park close to the multi-use games area, consisting of ramps, jumps and grind rails.

Both facilities were developed following full community consultation exercises by Salford City Council's Environment Directorate.
