Areva takes retailer’s surplus space at Birchwood

Household goods retailer Buy As You View has sub-let an industrial unit in Birchwood Park, Warrington to energy provider Areva T&D UK.

Areva has taken Unit 204 in Cavendish Place, comprising 21,353 sq ft, for eight years at a rent of £116,374 a year.

Alex Smylie, senior surveyor at DTZ, advising Buy As You View, commented: "This represented a significant letting in Warrington for what is one of the more prestigious buildings in the area. The unit's excellent location and high specification resulted in strong demand from the outset."
