ACC Pullman Hotel completes at King’s Dock
The 216-bedroom hotel at King’s Dock in Liverpool, adjoining the Exhibition Centre and ACC Liverpool on the city’s waterfront, has been opened by Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson.
Exhibition Centre Liverpool and the Pullman hotel will be directly connected to the existing facilities at ACC Liverpool via an interlinking bridge, making the venue the only purpose-built interconnected arena, convention and exhibition centre in Europe.
The £26m hotel has 216 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant called Dukes, and a bar and lounge with views of the River Mersey.
The construction of the hotel, which was built by ISG and designed by Denton Corker Marshall, was part of the expansion of facilities at the ACC Liverpool campus, which saw the opening of the 160,000 sq ft Exhibition Centre at the end of last year.
ACC Liverpool is home to the BT Convention Centre, Echo Arena and Exhibition Centre. The Pullman will be operated by Branded Hotel Management under a franchisee agreement from Accor Hotels & Resorts.
The hotel at Liverpool is Pullman’s first new-build in the UK.
Mayor Joe Anderson said: “This magnificent hotel is the latest chapter in the continued investment on Liverpool’s waterfront maintaining the city’s drive to be not only be a key regional destination for leisure, conferences, exhibitions and events but also a ‘City of Choice’ across Europe and the wider markets.
“I wish everyone involved in bringing the brand to our city the best of luck and visitors to Liverpool who are guests of the hotel a memorable time.”
The hotel has three meeting rooms, a gym, and function rooms.
