ALMO seeks £31m repairs partner

Northwards Housing, the city council’s arm’s length management organisation for council houses in North Manchester, is seeking a maintenance contractor for a £31m framework.
There are more than 13,000 homes in the Northwards estate. The successful contractor will be required to carry out day-to-day repair and maintenance services including emergency call outs.
The budget is £31.2m over an initial four years, rising to £78m over 10 years if the framework is extended to its maximum.
The anticipated start date is 3 April 2017. The work is being procured through The Chester by Manchester City Council on behalf of Northwards Housing.
