Nolan Redshaw completes Blackburn deals
The industrial agent has negotiated a 15,000 sq ft lease for Alden Green with French aerospace supplier Prevost, and sold a 2.7-acre site on behalf of Maro Developments.
Representing Alden Green, Nolan Redshaw agreed a 10-year lease with Prevost, which will use the premises as its UK headquarters, The unit had been under speculative construction. Property company Alden Green has consent for further units of 15,000 sq ft and 30,000 sq ft at the site, which has a single unit of 3,750 sq ft remaining within phase one.
Director Paul Nolan said: “This is a tremendous vote of confidence in the site and the area, and it is becoming very much a landmark scheme.” Taylor Weaver are joint agents.
Working for Maro, Nolan Redshaw negotiated the sale of a site on Sumner Street to The Secretary of State for the Department of Housing, Communities & Local Government, which will use it to build a new school.
Nolan said: “This is an excellent edge of town site, which is ideal for educational use. This transaction contributes to the regeneration of the area.”
