Four winners on £22m consultancy framework
Aecom, Jacobs, Mott MacDonald, and WSP have been chosen for a £22m consultancy framework spread across Warrington, Cheshire, and Halton.
Warrington Council has led on the procurement for the framework, which covers both Cheshire West & Chester and Cheshire East; Halton Council; and the Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership.
The four consultants will provide multi-disciplinary professional and technical advice, design, guidance, negotiation, and assistance on construction projects, as well as transportation, public realm, and asset management.
The framework is expected to last for two years with the option for two 12-month extensions.
Warrington and Cheshire’s framework is the latest contract win for Mott Macdonald, Aecom, WSP and Jacobs, with all four firms also named on Cumbria County Council’s £12m professional services framework earlier this month.
WSP was also chosen this month to deliver a sustainable energy strategy for the Liverpool City Region, while Mott MacDonald is also working as a consultant on the Blackpool Airport Enterprise Zone.
