Marketing Manchester launches year-long invest partnership ahead of MIPIM
Businesses can show their support for Greater Manchester, help promote the region, and secure prime opportunities with Northern leaders at MIPIM, UKREiiF, LREF, and Expo Real as part of Marketing Manchester’s latest offering.
Launched on Wednesday, the Manchester Invest Partnership will bring together the public and private sectors to support Greater Manchester as a prime region for capital investment and development.
Joanne Roney, chief executive of Manchester City Council, voiced her support for the Manchester Invest Partnership at the launch event at the Stock Exchange Hotel.
“One of Greater Manchester’s best assets is the strength of public and private sector collaboration across the city region and its united vision for the future, and with Greater Manchester’s success story taking a sharp upward trajectory, now is the right time for the partnership to step up and help realise the city region’s ambitions,” she said.
Roney also elaborated as to why the annual focus of the new partnership package was ideal.
“By taking a year-round approach to place promotion we can amplify projects at scale and create a stronger, continuous Greater Manchester narrative for global investors,” she said.
“Partners signing up for an annual package can benefit from a stronger working relationship with us and greater exposure, with the ability to contribute to content creation, event themes, media coverage, and digital promotions throughout the year.”
Manchester Invest Partnership packages range from £15,000 to £50,000 and include passes to the prominent property conferences, speaking opportunities, and attendance at round table discussions. The annual partnership opportunities also feature services from Place North West, including our popular video commentary pieces.
In addition to the year-round programme, there are also packages just for MIPIM and UKREiiF. The MIPIM packages range from £7,500 to £12,000 and include invitations to exclusive Manchester partnership events, airport transfers, and tickets to MIPIM.
UKREiiF packages range from £2,500 to £5,000 and include passes to the conference, speaking opportunities, and an invitation to Manchester’s welcome reception.
The first four organisations to join the Manchester Invest Partnership were announced on Wednesday. They are Morgan Sindall, Avison Young, Salford City Council, and MIDAS.
The launch event also saw Marketing Manchester tease more about what attendees at MIPIM can expect from the Manchester stand in 2024. This includes three daily networking sessions at the stand and a dedicated concierge who can help ensure stand visitors can meet the public and private sector professionals they want to do business with.
