Adhan lets Blackburn industrial in short order
Just weeks after purchasing the 153,000 sq ft India Mill from Graham & Brown, the property group has agreed a 10-year deal with tissue business Euro Paper.
The deal for the 5.5-acre complex was completed within four weeks of purchase.
Adhan said that the incoming tenant is set to bring approximately 150 new jobs to the area, adding that “the quick turnaround from acquisition to full occupancy marks a remarkable achievement”.
Abid Khan, director of Euro Paper, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be relocating our operations to this fantastic new site. It offers us the perfect platform for growth and expansion.”

The Adhan Group has become a big property player in the Blackburn area and beyond, acquiring assets across various use classes.
In retail, it now owns The Mall in Blackburn, as well as shopping centres in Preston, Warrington and Rochdale. In 2022, the group secured a consent for 150,000 sq ft+ of industrial space in Blackburn.
Adhan completed the acquisition of wallpaper maker Graham & Brown’s site close to Junction 6 of the M65, just weeks ago.
On its speedy letting, a spokesperson from The Adhan Group said: “This is not just a win for us – this is a win for Blackburn, and a proud moment for us to be part of one of the largest lettings in the North at the beginning of this year.
“Bringing industry and employment back to this landmark site is something we’re incredibly proud of. It reflects our commitment to revitalising key locations and supporting economic growth.”
