Aztec acquires electrical engineering firm

Aztec Interiors has acquired Birkenhead-based Earth Electrical Engineers for an undisclosed sum.

Earth, which will be rebranded as Aztec Mechanical & Electrical, was set up six years ago and has a turnover in excess of £250,000.

Ian Pryce, director of Earth, said: "This was a positive move for us because the integration under the Aztec banner will give our clients an even better service."

Both firms operate in similar sectors including social housing, offering synergies to clients from combining the services.

Rob Maxwell, Aztec's managing director, said: "I know our business will flourish even more from this investment and with further plans for expansion the future looks even brighter with our new team of electrical engineers."

Aztec is based in Liverpool and Manchester.
