Bellway seals deal for 108-home Lymm site
Pushing on with a development earmarked for land off Rushgreen Road, the housebuilder has exchanged contracts on the 10-acre plot.
Bellway dealt directly with the landowner, a private businessman, in completing the deal.
The development will be known as Narrowboat View, and will feature two-bed apartments, two- and three-bed mews, three bedroom townhouses, semi-detached and detached houses, as well as four-bedroom townhouses, and detached family homes.
Of the 108 homes, 30% will be designated as affordable.
All the properties will be accessible and adaptable for disabled use, according to the developer.
Bellway hopes to start on site by the summer, with the first properties expected to be released for sale in Autumn.
As part of the permission Bellway will make Section 106 contributions of around £1m, also gifting land to the NHS to help develop a local medical centre.
The project team for the development includes APD Architects, TEP Ecology, Shoosmiths and Gateley Solicitors, Eddisons Highways, E3P Ground and Lees Roxburgh Drainage.
