Boss more than doubles Liverpool One footprint

The German fashion brand is moving into a 13,500 sq ft store on Paradise Street, relocating from its current unit within Peter’s Arcade.

The move represents a 130% upsize in total trading area for Boss at Liverpool One. Its previous store was 5,800 sq ft.

In a similar move earlier this year, Tessuti quadrupled its presence at Grosvenor’s city centre shopping complex, taking a 22,000 sq ft outlet.

Boss’s new store is due to open early next year.

Rob Deacon, senior asset manager at Grosvenor, said the letting demonstrated the commitment premium brands have to Liverpool One.

“Securing the relocation and upsize of Boss at Liverpool One is a key moment for us,” he said.

“We’re proud to be experiencing sustained demand from the very best names, cementing our position as one of the UK’s leading retail and leisure destinations.”

Metis and CBRE acted for Liverpool ONE. CBRE acted for Boss.

Liverpool One needs extending as there are plenty of stores and restaurants they haven`t got such as Uniqlo, Muji etc, meanwhile the hotel offering is another opportunity to expand.

The key issue in relation to the possible expansion of liverpool one or indeed the city centre , is the re use of the now redundant police headquarters. This is the most important site in liverpool……we await news with great interest
