Branco opens 32,000 sq ft Preston flex workspace
Located off Winckley Square, the building provides more than 300 desks and 4,000 sq ft of communal amenities.
Branco Capital’s flexible workspace scheme is operated by Barcelona-based OneCoWork, which chose the Preston development as its first UK site earlier this year.
OneCoWork has now welcomed the first tenants to the space following the completion of fit-out work, carried out by Workspace Design & Build. As well as desks, the scheme features lounges, kitchens, meeting rooms, event spaces, and a gym.
Branco Capital acquired 33-34 Winckley Square in 2022 and, following the launch of the first phase, is hoping to add another 200 desks within a new-build element next door.
Ben Nachoom, chief executive of OneCoWork, said Preston’s location was a key driver behind the firm’s decision to choose the city for its UK debut.
“Preston’s central position in the North of England, along with its excellent transport links, makes it the perfect location for our first UK workspace.
“In secondary cities across the North, coworking spaces like ours act as catalysts for economic development, offering a unique blend of flexibility, networking opportunities, and access to a diverse talent pool.”
This is an excellent development. I visited recently and the quality of this scheme is superb.
