Cantarus takes 5,600 sq ft at Manchester’s Jutland House
The full-service digital and web design agency is relocating to a self-contained workspace in the Northern Quarter.
The deal will enable Cantarus to expand its team of 70 employers and by taking 5,625 sq ft at Jutland House, the firm has bagged 80% more floor space than it enjoyed at its previous 3,000 sq ft base in York House.
As part of the deal, the business also gains five dedicated meeting spaces, two quiet working areas, and multiple collaboration zones.
OBI led the acquisition with the transaction including enhancement works to cater to Cantarus as part of the new lease agreement with the private landlord.

Mike Cundall, chief operating officer at Cantarus, said: “The rapid expansion of our business has necessitated a larger office space. This is the first time we’ve moved offices in six years, and we’re thrilled about the positive impact this has had on the business since moving in.”
Richard Lace, director of transactions and asset management at OBI, said: “As a long-standing client of OBI’s, we’re pleased to work again with the team at Cantarus, helping them acquire a workspace that can support the business in the next stage of their growth.
“As part of the agreement with the landlord we were able to secure a package of enhancements to the suite including the addition of new meeting spaces and finishes throughout the suite which align with the Cantarus brand. This allowed a smooth and seamless move to the new office.”
