Construction Hub to re-procure high value framework
Procurement group North West Construction Hub has announced a soft market testing day as it prepares to re-tender its high value construction framework in September. The framework currently covers projects of £9m-plus.
The framework currently comprises six contractors: BAM Construct UK, Galliford Try, Kier, Laing O’Rourke, Morgan Sindall and Wates.
The session will take place at Manchester’s Central Library on 11 July. NWCH said it “would like to involve you in discussions on how to take the next generation of frameworks forward, making them future-proof and attractive to clients and contractors alike.
“We will be giving you information on what has been achieved to date, and asking for your thoughts and ideas on issues such as market conditions.”
The invitation is open to representatives of all companies who would like to share their knowledge and experience and are considering bidding for the high value framework.
NWCH was originally formed by Manchester City Council and has become one of the largest bodies in its field, running high, medium and low value fraeworks.
Since its 2009 formation, it has delivered more than 350 projects for 80 clients, with a combined value of more than £1.5bn.
