Ellis Williams Architects hires from Broadway Malyan
Tim Brown has rejoined Ellis Williams, 11 years after he left the practice, from Broadway Malyan in Manchester, where he led the education team.
Brown’s track record includes delivering regional and national projects ranging from university estates strategies to the detailed design of bespoke facilities.
Brown joins Ellis Williams as it prepares to open its Manchester studio next month, headed by former John McAslan + Partners managing director Tony Skipper, who joined last June. Ellis Williams has also in the past year acquired Studio Three Architects which saw Mushtaq Saleri’s return, after a 14-year break, and launched the Liverpool studio based in the Vanilla Factory.
Julian Baker, EWA managing director, said: “Tim brings a wealth of experience and will be invaluable in continuing to establish our growth aspirations across all our key sectors in particular education, leisure and mixed-use.”
