Four commit to Crewe Hall Farm
Deals representing a combined 13,000 sq ft have been agreed at the Duchy of Lancaster-owned south Cheshire office park.
The largest of the deals completed by Legat Owen, sole agent on the scheme, sees communications provider Cymphony relocate from Macon Court in Crewe, doubling the size of its previous space and giving room for further growth in taking 6,525 sq ft on a 10-year lease.
Total Sports Medicine has signed up to The Forge, a 2,723 sq ft workspace, while Hi Spec System moves into the 2,396 sq ft Hayloft. ERMEWA has taken Office Four at The Dairy, accounting for a further 1,100 sq ft.
Legat Owen said that the 27,000 sq ft development’s only unlet space, a 300 sq ft suit, is now under offer. Crewe Hall Farm was redeveloped as offices by the Duchy in the 2000s in partnership with Maple Grove.
Marcel Desmilly, asset manager for the Duchy of Lancaster, said: “The business community here is made up from a wide range of sectors, but all have a common goal which is to create a flexible, semi-rural working environment where their people can thrive and grow.”
Andy Butler, director at Legat Owen, added: “The south Cheshire office market is continuing to show a great deal of resilience, with many businesses wanting to tap into the local, skilled labour pool.
“We have strong interest in any remaining office space in south Cheshire and we’re now in urgent need of new office development for future demand.”
