Furniture store takes space at White City
Natuzzi, advised by Savills, has agreed a 10-year lease on a 7,500 sq ft store at White City Retail Park in Manchester.
The park is owned by The Derwent Group.
Founded in Italy almost 60 years ago, Natuzzi is a large designer furniture retailer, with products distributed in the UK, Europe, US, Asia, UAE and Australia.
The retailer is set to move into Unit 9 and will trade as Natuzzi Editions. The store will become Natuzzi’s 17th standalone store in the UK.
White City Retail Park is located on Chester Road, three miles from Manchester city centre. Occupiers include Furniture Village, SCS, Sofology and Oak Furnitureland as well as Costa, Aldi, Home Bargains and an M&S Foodhall.
Catherine Barnard, associate in the retail team at Savills, said: “Natuzzi are already familiar with Manchester with their Natuzzi Italia store at Barton Square having been open for 12 years, and it’s great to have acquired this second store for them to showcase the Natuzzi Editions brand. White City is the prime furniture destination for the city and the store is a fantastic addition to Natuzzi’s growing portfolio. We look forward to continuing to work with them on future acquisitions.”
The Derwent Group was represented by Cheetham & Mortimer.
