Gateley promotes three to partner in Manchester
Leanne Murray and Crystal Or, from the company’s residential development team, and Holly Howarth, from the construction team, have moved up to the senior position.
Murray joined Gateley’s as a legal director in February 2020 and has more than 15 years of experience in the industry. Previous roles include legal director at DAC Beachcroft and head of residential development at Brabners.
Or joined the company as a solicitor in June 2019, before moving up to senior associate and head of Asia Pacific in May 2021. Or has also held solicitor roles at JMW and Moon Beever Solicitors.
Howarth moved to Gateley from her previous position as associate at David & Co Legal Consultants in March 2015, becoming senior associate of the construction and surety team in May 2021.
The promotions at the company’s Manchester office did not stop there, with a total of 13 employees from the team of 207 moving up the ranks.
Jonathan Burton-Baddeley and Katie Mindurski, both in the real estate team, and Michael Rock from corporate have been promoted to senior associate roles.
There have been six promoted to associate. Those promoted are Richard Bailey from planning, Jordan Buckle from employment, Matthew Knowles from commercial dispute resolution, and Katie Walsh from the private client team, as well as Haz Arshad and Adam Noble from corporate.
Helen Ellis has also moved up from senior associate to legal director of the company’s real estate team.
