The hotel will feature a 130-cover Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill and, said general manager, the hotel and restaurant have secured £500,000 of advanced bookings already.

The hotel will be owned and operated by Sanguine Hospitality, founded by former Charlton Homes boss Paul Bolton.

The interior design of cotton reels and thread reflects the city's cotton trade history. Hotel Indigo is the boutique hotel brand of Inter Continental Hotel Group.
