JMW extends Place North alliance

The law firm has renewed its Place partnership for the fifth consecutive year, bolstering a collaborative relationship that stretches back a decade and a half.

Over the last 16 years, JMW and Place North West have collaborated on a variety of activities, including event sponsorship and video comment pieces both domestically and at MIPIM.

More recently, Place North and JMW teamed up to deliver a bespoke Building Safety Act conference in Manchester.

The partnership, which was first formalised in 2021, will now continue into 2025.

Thomas Pearson, partner at JMW, said: “As we celebrate five years of the Place partnership, the relationship continues to go from strength to strength, both in terms of the collaboration and support we receive in partnering with them, together with the opportunities to co-create new events.

Pearson commended Place’s “ideal position” in the market and reputation as a “trusted and respected provider of high-quality events and content”.

Dino Moutsopoulos, managing partner and head of commercial, at Place North said: “The support of long-time partners is crucial to underpinning our expansion plans as we gear up for our biggest ever year to date.

“This year we’ve delivered work together at MIPIM and in Manchester with Thomas Pearson and more recently with Richard Glover on the bespoke BSA conference. I’m sure that 2025 will be another positive year for Place North and this progressive law firm.”
