Kammac signs for 379,000 sq ft in Warrington

M&G has let two refurbished warehouses previously occupied by Asda to the third-party logistics provider.

Kammac’s 397,000 sq ft deal is thought to be one of the North West’s largest industrial lettings of the year so far.

The units, known as Warrington 379, are located on Dallam Lane next to Warrington Wolves’ stadium and close to Junction 9 of the M62.

B8 Real Estate advised M&G on the deal and Littler & Associates advised Kammac.

Steve Johnson, director at B8 Real Estate, said: “Warrington 379 lends itself ideally to a third-party logistics user looking to utilise the building as a shared user facility.

“There is currently limited availability of properties such as Warrington 379 and we were pleased to agree terms and exchange contracts with Kammac within weeks.”

Paul Kamel, managing director of Kammac, added: “Kammac is proud to add Warrington 379 to its extensive warehousing profile. This addition enables Kammac to further its logistics capabilities around the UK.”

Kammac, which is based in Skelmersdale, is one of the region’s most active third-party logistics operators. The Warrington deal brings the company’s current warehousing portfolio to approximately 3m sq ft.

In March, Kammac signed for 202,000 sq ft in St Helens and 87,500 sq ft in Preston.
