BioGrad Diagnostics to open £2m clinic, offices in Bootle
The Covid-testing firm’s 7,500 sq ft site will open on 20 June at St Hugh’s House on Stanley Road, a Bruntwood Works property.
It has been a busy year for Liverpool-based BioGrad Diagnostics. Since December 2020, the company has opened five clinics, including one in Manchester and three in London.
The Bootle location stretches across two floors and includes a clinic, customer service call centre and office spaces for BioGrad Diagnostics’ marketing and HR departments. The company estimates the new location will create 120 new jobs.
“Opening in Bootle is further evidence of our growing success and our commitment to the City Region and the Northern Powerhouse agenda,” said Dr Natalie Kenny, CEO of BioGrad Diagnostics. “We are always looking to collaborate with other organisations across the North, and we are already on the lookout for further premises in the city region.”
BioGrad Diagnostics has Morrisons Utility Services as a neighbour at St Hugh’s House. The deal between BioGrad Diagnostics and Bruntwood Works for the space was done directly, without agents involved in securing it.
