Clancy appoints division director
Daniel Singh has joined the Altrincham-based engineering consultancy from Sweco.
Singh will work in the Altrincham office as part of the company’s civil and structural team. He has more than 15 years of experience in the industry and has worked for Sinclair Knight Mertz and Arup. Singh has a history of leading large multi-disciplinary and complex projects. He tends to work in the commercial, stadia, educational and public realm sectors.
Past projects for Singh include the Anfield Stadium main stand and a client-side role on the new Coronation Street Studios in MediaCityUK.
Singh has also given back to the community, advising students through the University of Salford’s industry mentoring scheme.
“This is a key appointment for us, strengthening our team in the North West and fulfilling our strategic growth plans for the business,” said Chris Acton, director of the Altrincham office for Clancy. “We’re currently engaged on several innovative, industry-leading schemes in the region, including projects within the £2.5bn Salford Crescent Regeneration Master Plan, and the development of Ralli Quays on the banks of the River Irwell.

Clancy got its start in 1972, when Brian Clancy founded the organisation in South Manchester. The company currently operates 10 regional offices in the country, including Liverpool, Leeds and London.
