Ex-RBS head joins Overbury

Peter Allan has joined the Manchester-based office fit out and refurbishment firm Overbury as operations director.

Previously, Allan worked as head of property, retail, corporate and wealth at RBS. Prior to this, he worked as head of projects for the Asia-Pacific region, also at RBS. He worked with Styles & Wood to look after the RBS framework along with other projects as head of frameworks.

He has also held roles at Turner & Townsend and Lendlease during his 24-year career.

Overbury has worked on projects for firms including Arup, BBC, EY, Pinsent Masons and Odeon.

Allan said: “The opportunity to join such an organisation at a time when the Northern market is strong made the decision an easy one. I hope to bring a different perspective to how we approach projects and reinforce the strong relationships that we hold across the region, ultimately driving increased repeat business.”
