‘Influencer bar’ to debut at Liverpool One  

Boujee Restaurant & Bar is to open its first venue in a 9,600 sq ft unit at the shopping centre in December.

The restaurant is scheduled to launch on 3 December at Kenyon Steps, subject to the lifting of lockdown restrictions, in the unit previously occupied by Chaophraya Bar & Restaurant.

Accommodating up to 250 covers, the restaurant concept will pander to social media users and influencers, providing a range of “instagrammable” backdrops including a convertible pink car, and giant candy area, as well as themed ‘pool party’ and ‘Alice in Boujeeland’ spaces.

Spanning two floors, Boujee will operate as a family friendly restaurant during the day to and as a bar during the evening. 

Boujee is backed by investors including reality television personality Lystra Adams. 

Adams said: “Boujee is a vibrant, trend-driven concept, packed with personality. The process of choosing the location of Boujee’s first site was very selective, but Liverpool One really stood out.   

“My investment in Boujee reflects the wider confidence behind the concept and its success at Liverpool One.”   

Boujee joins a growing list of restaurants at Liverpool One, including Italian-American themed restaurant Smoke and Dough, and The Club House, operated by New World Trading Company. In addition, Maggie Fu, the Liverpool-based Asian street food restaurant, is set to open on Liverpool One’s Hanover Street in early 2021.
