Emily Carter has joined the strategic communications agency’s public affairs team after more than three years with DevoConnect.
Carter has experience in establishing and managing cross-party campaigns involving a variety of issues including net zero, housing, transport and health. Carter has previously worked in the House of Commons as a parliamentary assistant. She is a NextGen PRCA committee member.
Carter is charged with growing the Northern branch of Lexington’s public affairs division and providing strategic advice and insightful campaigns for clients. She will be based in Lexington’s Manchester office.
“I’m delighted to welcome Emily to our public affairs team at Lexington,” said Paul Boyfield, managing director of Lexington North.
“We have continued to grow over the last 18 months and adding her wealth of talent and experience to the business will help us grow further and provide a truly integrated communications offer to our clients.”
Carter has joined Lexington North at a time of growth, with the company hiring Jack Boyce as an associate director in November last year and appointing Jess Fearon and Freddie Hyde to the Manchester-based property division.
In addition to Manchester, Lexington has offices in Leeds, London, Birmingham, and Cambridge.
