Promotion spree for Irwin Mitchell
Real estate lawyer Richard Allan and IT specialist Graham Thomson have both been made partners in a raft of promotions at the law firm’s Manchester office.
Allan joined Irwin Mitchell as a senior consultant from professional services firm Knights last August, where he was a partner in the construction and real estate team.
Thomson, an information and cyber security specialist, has been promoted to partner after four years at Irwin Mitchell.
In addition to the two new partners, there are five senior associate promotions and five members of staff promoted to associate across the company’s legal services and business support teams in Manchester.
Carol Purang, Lucy Bazley, Marie Kilgallen, Neil Patterson, and Sarah Garrington have all been made senior associates.
Alexandra Goldrein, Daniel Matchett Dominic Serridge, Emma Bates, and Kim Jackson have been promoted to associate positions.
As well as the Manchester promotions, the firm has announced 19 new partners across the UK and a total of 75 staff bumped up to senior associate or associate.
Around 70% of those promoted were female, according to Irwin Mitchell.
Andrew Tucker, group chief executive at Irwin Mitchell, said: “We’re proud of all our promoted colleagues and are pleased to be able to recognise their contribution to the success of Irwin Mitchell both in terms of supporting our clients but also creating the right culture.”
