Two promoted at Turley

Stephen Taylor has been named national head of design for the planning consultancy, while Emma Dickson has been appointed to a director role in the strategic communications team.

Taylor, who worked with Aecom and DPP before joining Turley as a senior designer in 2010, will lead the company’s urban design team to drive further expansion of its service across the UK. He was made director in 2015.

Dickson, who joined Turley in 2008, will continue to be based in Manchester, helping clients handle all stakeholder communication aspects of planning and development.

Dave Trimingham, managing director at Turley, said: “These appointments are an essential component of our strategy for maximising the growth of our key service areas across the UK.

“The appointment of Stephen Taylor is testament to the strong reputation we have forged in planning design and the UK-wide expertise we provide.

“The promotion of Emma Dickson provides further impetus for the growth of our strategic communications team following the appointment earlier this year of Nick Jones to lead our national offering.

“It is a tremendously exciting time for the business, and expanding our senior team creates further opportunities for growth and diversification of our full-service offer.”

Turley now works from 13 offices across the UK.
