Pell Frischmann hires technical director
David Wilkinson is the latest hire of the consultancy as it continues to expand into the North West.
Wilkinson has more than 17 years of experience in transport planning and project and programme management.
Previously, Wilkinson was a regional sponsor for a portfolio of major route enhancements at National Highways.
Wilkinson will begin as technical director from the company’s Manchester office.
He has also worked with Transport for Greater Manchester as programme manager for the Active Travel scheme’s rollout.
His hire comes as Pell Frischmann shakes up its northern office, where more than 70 of the company’s 650 employees are based.
Andy Oates, Pell Frischmann’s divisional director who is leading the transport planning team, said: “We are delighted to have David join our established and growing Manchester team.
“David has excellent experience which will enhance our traffic and transportation consultancy offering, allowing us to not only provide wider support to our existing clients by also expand our range of transport planning services to new clients.”
Pell Frischmann is currently supporting the delivery of the Northern Gateway scheme for Bury Council and Rochdale Councils, as well as developing an active travel strategy for the Lake District National Park.
