PN conference discount

Place North offers half price conference tickets for councils and RPs

Collaboration between the public and private sectors is integral to Northern economic growth. With this in mind, we are now offering a 50% discount to local authorities and housing associations to ensure more of the right conversations happen at our events.

Discounted tickets will make it easier for local decision-makers to keep their collective finger firmly on the pulse of the regional development scene at Place North’s bespoke geographically-focused and sector-led conferences.

The state of local government finances is well-documented. Cuts over successive years mean that councils must keep a tight grip on their purse strings. Equally, registered providers are not-for-profit organisations, which limits how they can spend their money.

Place North’s decision to reduce the price of admission for councillors, local authority directors, and representatives from housing association recognises the reality of their respective spending power and the crucial role they play in improving towns and cities in the North.

Dino Moutsopoulos, managing partner at Place North, said: “Place North has been supporting the property market for 18 years now. We are a small privately owned company that does big things, but it is only now, with our wider reach and position, that we are able to put into action some of our more strategic aspirations.

“After consulting with some of the region’s senior advisors, it was clear there is a need to do more to support registered providers and local authorities.”

He added: “We are not a one off show or a new arrival to the market and as such we know that we occupy a position that has become ever more useful to the Northern property market.

“Local authorities and registered providers are often the conduits to significant regeneration and housing masterplans. We are very proud to be able to take this decision to make the Place North conferences so much more accessible to these sectors.”
