Plans lodged for 53 affordable homes in Oldham
A mixture of apartments and houses are earmarked for brownfield land off Holt Street in the town.
MCI Developments, part of Keepmoat Homes, are behind the proposals which would see a rectangular two-acre site host a block of apartments, terraced, and semi-detached residences.
The housing mix is broken down into 12 one-bed apartments, 12 two-bed apartments, 12 two-bed terraced homes, and 17 three-bed semi-detached properties.
Existing access off Holt Street would be used by pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles, with 41 parking spaces included in the plans lodged with Oldham Council.
All the homes will be classed as affordable, with a portion to be made available for affordable rent or social rent. The exact number of these has yet to be agreed.
Oldham Council planners will make a decision on the proposals at a future date.
The project team features Enabl, E3P, Adapt, MAP, Ground Tech, TBA, Design for Security, AES, LDE, and Eddisons.
