Pochin leaves Knight Frank after seven years
CBRE has appointed Mike Pochin as associate director of investment properties in its Manchester team.
Pochin joins from Knight Frank where he was associate in the Manchester capital markets team.
In July, Pochin advised NFU Mutual on its £32m acquisition of Amazon’s 216,000 sq ft shed at Kingsway Business Park in Rochdale.
Pochin also acted for Warrington Council on its £45m purchase of Movianto’s distribution facility at Haydock Industrial Estate.
Pochin, who also has experience advising in the office sector, joins CBRE’s seven strong Manchester investment properties team which is headed up by executive director Colin Thomasson.
The CBRE team has acted on some of the largest investment transactions in recent years including Warrington Council’s £112m off-market purchase of the 175,000 sq ft BT building at New Bailey, as first revealed by Place North West.
Will Kennon, executive director at CBRE Investment Properties, said: “Widely regarded as one of Manchester’s rising stars in the investment scene, Mike has demonstrated immense passion and desire to work across both industrial and office sectors and has an impressive track record having closed a number of high-profile investment transactions with a diverse client base.”
