Quasar Real Estate bags two in Ellesmere Port
Quasar Real Estate, part of Simon Storer’s Jolivet group, has announced Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency as the latest occupier at Telford Court, Chestergates, following a 2,000 sq ft deal.
The deal sees the agency, which has agreed a 10-year lease, relocate from Saighton. It follows a sale of 6,000 sq ft to SCNW Properties in mid-December at Telford Court. Originally built by Gladman Developments, the 54,000 sq ft scheme was acquired by Jolivet in an off-market deal last year.
Storer said: “Following our acquisition, we have embarked on a programme of refurbishment and active management and are delighted to have retained the vast majority of the existing occupiers, and also to welcome new occupiers to Telford Court.
“The development proved of particular interest to DVSA due to the proximity of the premises to the M56 and the level of parking provided. SCNW Properties also had a long-standing requirement to purchase 6,000 sq ft and we were able to identify a property that matched their requirements.”
Will Sadler, director, office agency at Legat Owen, joint agents for the scheme with JPM Real Estate, said: “This scheme has attracted high calibre tenants including DHL, Close Brothers and Cadscan. These latest deals mean that only 6,000 sq ft remains available.”
Cushman & Wakefield acted for DVSA, while SCNW Properties was unrepresented. Quoting rents at Telford Court are £12/sq ft.
