Roundhouse rolls out plans for £15m Bamber Bridge industrial

To be named Momentum Plus, the 67,000 sq ft business park designed by David Cox Architects will be developed at South Rings close to the M65 interchange.

The 3.5-acre Bamber Bridge site is owned by Roundhouse Properties, which has applied to develop nine commercial blocks, each providing 50 units ranging in size from 750 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft.

In total, the £15m scheme will offer around 67,000 sq ft of flexible commercial space.

Roundhouse Properties has developed other Momentum business parks in Blackburn, Chorley, and Preston and is now turning its attention to South Ribble.

The site sits off the M65 interchange, providing quick access to the M6, M61, and M55.

Managing director of Roundhouse Properties Jeremy Lefton said: “Our Momentum schemes have proved to be incredibly popular with SMEs, and with this site, we’re enhancing that model with the addition of larger commercial space alongside our traditional-size units you’ll find on a Momentum business park.

“If plans are approved, we’ll demolish existing buildings and create a modern business park, which will facilitate economic growth in the area by creating an attractive location with a mix of units for new and growing businesses.”

The project was designed by David Cox Architects and De Pol Associates is the scheme’s planning consultant.

Subject to planning approval, work on-site could start in early 2026, according to Roundhouse.

With the emphasis on being close to the motorway network, let’s hope it has enough parking for all employees.
