Smith & Sons offers historic house for sale
A 17th Century house in Wallasey, Wirral with a guide price of between £60,000 and £70,000 is among the lots at the next auction of Smith & Sons.
Built in 1627, Old House on Limekiln Lane recently became vacant after 90 years occupancy by a single tenant who was born at the property. Smith & Sons said the three-storey sandstone property is in need of some modernisation and upgrading but has great potential to create a detached family home.
A total of 20 lots will be offered at the sale on 23 November; mainly terraced, semi-detached and detached houses in need of repair and modernisation.
Development opportunities include land at Livingstone Road in Birkenhead with planning permission for 14 flats as well as a former nursing home on Gerald Road in Oxton.
The auction will be held at the Village Hotel in Bromborough.
