Steve Abbot recruits new associate

Andrew Tait has joined town planning practice Steven Abbott Associates LLP as associate.

Tait has joined its planning team this month and will be based at Steven Abbott's Kendal offices in Cumbria.

He is currently employed by the Cairngorms National Park Authority, where he has been since the early days of the Park in 2004.

Tait previously held positions with the Dartmoor NPA, Bristol City Council and in industry.

The consultancy firm, with offices in Lancashire and Cumbria, has been established by Christie McDonald, Claire Wilkinson and Harry Tonge.

Savills is marketing the long leasehold for the 437,300 sq ft shopping complex on behalf of appointed receiver Cushman & Wakefield.
